Fees

My current fees are charged at a daily rate of £450 or £60 p/hour (if less than a day). Expenses such as milage to view a site or attend a meeting are also charged. 

 

Before commencing work, a quote and schedule of work will be agreed with my client. I do not charge VAT.

For planning applications, where work has been commissioned from a specialist consultant (e.g. ecologist, archaeologist etc.), my client will be responsible for paying the specialist directly. Planning fees payable to the local authority are usually requested as part of a deposit before work commences.

Rough timescales to complete some common types of work are set out below:

Planning advice: 

1 hour - 3 days

Submission of planning application, including preparation of Planning Statement:

3-4 days

​

Submission of appeal, including preparation of Appeal Statement:

5-7 days
