Planning applications
Most types of development will need planning permission. I can help prepare your planning application, including arranging preparation of the drawings and technical reports you'll need to be successful.
Following submission of the application, I can also be on hand to manage this through the decision making process. This might include negotiation with the council's case officer and/or presenting at planning committee.
Appeals
Planning decisions are subjective. Consequently applicants have the right of appeal to the Planning Inspectorate.
I can help prepare your planning appeal. This usually involves writing an 'Appeal Statement' for you, arguing the case for why the development should go ahead.
Occasionally the Planning Inspector responsible for deciding the appeal will call a hearing, which I'd also attend on your behalf.
Planning advice
Sometimes you just want a bit of a steer on whether your scheme is likely to get planning permission before committing too much time and money into it.
I can provide planning advice tailored to your needs and how invested you are in the project at that time.
Site promotion
Every five years or so, councils must update their town plan. At this point, they will often seek land for development. Generally, not all land will make its way into the final town plan however.
If you have land you would like to be included within a town plan, I can help you present a strong case to the council.
